Clinical Research Lead and member of the executive committee of ICMS, Bart van den Bemt held his inaugural lecture on September 24th. Earlier he has been appointed as professor of Personalized Pharmaceutical Care at Radboud University / Radboudumc.
Van den Bemt’s goal is to make the patient’s drug use more effective, safer and more efficient in a scientific, person-oriented and innovative way. He pays particular attention to shared decision-making, improved adherence to therapy, effective pharmacotherapy and sustainable use of medicine. His special teaching assignment was established in collaboration with the Sint Maartenskliniek.
